  • Descrição: Set against a monochrome backdrop with musical notes painted on it, the conductor of an orchestra performs all kinds of magic tricks, making musicians from her band appear inside the notes on the musical score in the background. This film forms part of what is known as 'cinema of attractions', successor to the popular shows of the late nineteenth century. Beyond a simple narrative, the film seeks to astound and amaze the audience through a series of visual tricks: transformations, overlays, substitutions and reverse motion, among other effects.
